Damaged Skin & Blemish Removal

Benefits of Laser Treatments

How you look affects how you feel every day. We want to look our best naturally, without layers of makeup and concealers; most of us, men and women, desire young looking, radiant, smooth skin. Unfortunately, there is a wide array of skin treatments that misleadingly claim to rejuvenate aging skin making you look more youthful. If you’ve tried facials, microdermabrasion or toxic and harsh chemical peels without any results, then laser treatment may be the solution for you.

Constant exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet light can toughen the skin’s texture, add wrinkles, enlarge skin pores, and cause irregular pigmentation. Laser treatments can restore a more natural appearance to the skin by:

  • Eliminating redness
  • Minimizing skin pores
  • Decreasing wrinkles
  • Stimulating the growth of skin collagen

Recently, laser treatment patients had few options in laser treatments. Most physicians used a powerful CO2 laser to invasively peel the outer layer of skin. These treatments required the use of anesthesia and involved pain, long healing times, and the threat of permanent skin discolorization.

Free Treatment Consultation Available to You

Most cosmetic procedures can be treated in as few as five treatments. One of our certified medical professionals will be able to help you determine the best treatment program for your skin type and color at your first free consultation. Our staff is trained to focus on what is right for you and your well being. You will always be given impartial and individualized recommendations on the best and least invasive treatments to achieve your desired results.

The laser is directed toward a specific target in the skin, such as an enlarged blood vessel or irregular pigment-producing cells. Each enlarged blood vessel or cell is removed without scarring or damage to the treated area and the surrounding area. Laser light is applied and absorbed in the upper dermis to stimulate collagen and smooth the outer layers of skin. Typically, the skin is healed in a few days.

After treatment is complete, you will experience a moderate redness. For best results and to protect your skin, lubricant and lotions should be applied until the skin is healed and you must use a sun block. Most skin discolorations do not return after all treatment sessions have been completed. However, some birthmarks may return, but the procedure can be repeated.
