John A. Pietropaoli M.D., FACS

The Pinnacle Medical Group and it’s three individual practices was founded by Dr. John Pietropaoli, a local board-certified vascular surgeon who has over 18 years of experience. Trained at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Pietropaoli is board-certified in general and vascular surgery as well as phlebology. With the latest diagnostic imaging capabilities, Dr. Pietropaoli utilizes non-invasive techniques to determine the source of most patient problems.

Dr. Pietropaoli has the expertise, experience and the state-of-the-art, office-based laser technology to treat his patients in the convenience and privacy of the Pinnacle Medical Group. Most patients are able to return to normal activity within 24 hours.

Marijo Cosmas, M.S., R.N., CRNP

Ms. Cosmas has been a practicing nurse for over 30 years. Ms. Cosmas is a diploma graduate from the Evanston Hospital School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University and her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Ms. Cosmas is also board-certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Additionally, Ms. Cosmas is experienced in the clinical arenas of critical care, oncology/hematology, vascular surgery and interventional radiology. Additionally, Ms. Cosmas has many years of experience in nursing leadership and management. Ms. Cosmas has the competency and expertise to diagnose, treat and manage all of your vascular concerns.
